How to Dress Well at the Triple Rock added to MSPIFF special events

Bringing the experience of experimental film out of the cinema and into a live event, please join us at the Triple Rock Social Club on Saturday, April 30th for a guest DJ set by How to Dress Well (aka HTDW). Taking inspiration (and samples) from 1990's R&B, HDTW chops up, squeezes, and processes these sounds to create a haunting sonic experience, like music from a downstairs neighbor's boombox leaking up through the floorboards. The artist is lit primarily by video projections created by video artist Jamie Hurley, which, reflecting the music, are sampled and stitched together from movies, television, and photographs,
adding a layer of loose and dream-like storytelling to HDTW's ghostly creations.

Saturday April 30 / 10:00pm doors

Free with ticket stub from the Experimental Film Program screening (April 29th, 7pm, St. Anthony Main Theater) and/or Free Radicals: A History of Experimental Film (April 28th, 9:15pm). $5 with no ticket stub.
